On October 5, Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers participated in a virtual town hall forum for Spokane area colleagues and PAC Members to talk about policy issues in Congress. She last participated in a virtual town hall for Spokane employees in 2020.
Congresswoman Rodgers is the Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and represents Guardian’s Spokane colleagues. Congresswoman Rodgers took colleagues’ questions related to privacy legislation, including the e-delivery of benefit statements such as EOBs, and legislation around Artificial Intelligence. Congresswoman Rodgers also heard from colleagues about dental loss ratio (DLR) challenges and spoke about improvements in broadband services in Washington State.
“It was a pleasure to meet with Congresswoman Rodgers again and for colleagues to have the opportunity to hear from her. Her leadership on policy issues affect Guardian and her willingness to listen to colleagues is very much appreciated,” said Sharri Norman, Head of Dental Claims, Group Benefits, who introduced the Congresswoman.
