Equally Enabled and Guardian PAC host virtual discussion with Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI)

Guardian PAC and Guardian’s Equally Enabled ERG hosted a virtual event featuring U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, who represents Michigan’s 6th Congressional District, for a discussion on issues affecting the disabilities community. She is a member of House Democratic leadership and is a co-chair of the Bipartisan Disabilities Caucus which works to raise issues, educate and advance solutions for people with disabilities.
Led by PAC Chair Mike Prestileo, the discussion centered around caregiving and Congress’ role in assuring people who are disable have the resources they need. Francine Chew, Head of Corporate Impact spoke about Guardian’s University of Michigan connection through its Adaptive Sports and Fitness Program.
The conversation closed out with a discussion on paid family leave issues. Congresswoman Dingell was thankful for Guardian’s role in ensuring well-being for all Americans.
